What can you win?

Ampere is excited to give away one scholarship for one learner to attend STEAM School one day per week (Tuesday or Wednesday) from Jan. 14through June 25, 2025 (excluding the week of March 10-14, 2025, when STEAM School is not operating).

Who is eligible?

The scholarship is open to learners who will be between the ages of 9 and 12 years old during the enrolment period (January to June, 2025).

Entry Deadline and Winner Selection

Entries must be submitted by individuals over the age of 18 years old. Entries must be submitted by 12 p.m. Eastern on Jan. 2, 2025. A winner will be selected at random at 1 p.m. Eastern on Jan. 2, 2025 and notified between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. the same day by email and/or phone.

The selected winner will have until 10 a.m. Eastern on Monday, Jan. 6, 2025 to contact Ampere at ckldelivery@amp.ca to acknowledge their win and state their intent (ie. Yes, I would like to register my learner for one day per week at STEAM School or no, I will not be registering my learner for STEAM School).

If the first winner fails to acknowledge their win by the above noted deadline, or if they acknowledge their win but state they will not be registering their learner for STEAM School, then they will have forfeited the scholarship and a second winner will be selected.

The second winner, if necessary, will be selected at 12 p.m. Eastern on Monday, Jan. 6, 2025.

The second winner will be selected at random from a pool of all entrants, excluding the first winner.

The winner selection will follow the above procedure until a winner is selected and the winner’s learner has been registered for STEAM School for the remainder of the enrolment period.

Rules

• There is no purchase necessary.

• Entry Form must be complete and submitted by the deadline noted above to be entered into the draw.

• Only one entry per eligible learner will be entered into the draw.

• In order to be eligible to use the scholarship, the learner must be between 9 and 12 years of age during the 2024-2025 school year.

• For further clarity, the learner can be 8 years old at the time of the draw, as long as they turn 9 sometime between January 1, 2025 and June 30, 2025.

• The completed Entry Form must be submitted by an individual who is at least 18 years of age.

• For further clarity, the winner cannot sell or give away the scholarship and neither can they seek to redeem the scholarship for its cash value.

•There is no transportation provided to or from STEAM School.

• For further clarity, the learner/learner’s family is responsible for getting the learner to and from STEAM School (located at 12 Peel St., Lindsay).

• Ampere has the right to revoke the scholarship at any time at the organization’s discretion, should a learner breach the Student Code of Conduct.
