Melissa Jegeris
STEAM School EducatorMelissa (she/her) is a recent graduate from Trent University in the Bachelor of Education in the Primary/Junior stream. Her previous education is from Carleton University where she received her Bachelor of Arts(Hons) in Childhood and Youth Studies with a Minor in Indigenous Studies.

Kaya Truax
Makerspace LeadKaya leads the operations and processes of our Lindsay Makerspace and STEAM School. Kaya’s multifaceted experience, encompassing education, administration, community engagement, and non-profit work equips her with a unique skill set that aligns perfectly with her current role as Makerspace Lead in Kawartha Lakes.

Steve Blair
Senior Digital Skills EducatorSteve has been teaching coding, digital skills, and new media workshops for learners ages 5 to 95 through various non-profits since 2006. Steve is the Senior Digital Skills Educator in the Kawarthas region where he teaches workshops on various STEAM topics to kids, teens, and adults.
